Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GalaxyPi — the website at galaxypi.app, the Pi Browser app at app.galaxypi.app, and related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to accept these Terms.

2. The Service

GalaxyPi is a community and entertainment platform for Pi Network enthusiasts, offering arcade games, a strategy “Galaxy” experience, a community forum, and an in-app virtual currency called GPi. The Service is provided for entertainment and community purposes.

3. Accounts

You sign in using your Pi Network account; authentication is handled through Pi Network. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your Pi Network account secure. Notify us of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Virtual Currency (GPi) and Items

• No monetary value. GPi and any in-app items are virtual goods licensed to you for use within the Service. They have no monetary value, are not real currency, and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside the Service.
• License, not ownership. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use virtual items; you do not own them.
• No guarantee. We may adjust, expire, or remove virtual currency, items, prices, and game balance at any time. We are not liable for any loss of virtual currency or items.
• Pi payments. If and when payment features are offered, purchases are processed through Pi Network and are subject to its terms. Purchases of virtual items are final except where required by law.

5. Beta Service

The Service may be offered as a beta or early-access release. It may contain bugs, change frequently, and be modified or discontinued at any time. Features, progress, virtual currency, and data may be reset during the beta period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation, or otherwise manipulate gameplay, the GPi economy, or leaderboards.
• Create multiple or fake accounts to gain an unfair advantage or abuse referral or beta access.
• Post unlawful, harassing, hateful, infringing, or spam content in the forum or elsewhere.
• Attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (such as forum posts). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service. You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to post it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, games, designs, logos, and content (excluding user content), is owned by GalaxyPi or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services and Ads

The Service integrates third parties (including Pi Network and an advertising provider) and may display ads. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, or ads, which are governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GalaxyPi and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, virtual currency, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or USD $50.

12. Not Affiliated with Pi Network

GalaxyPi is an independent community platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Pi Network Core Team. References to Pi Network are for compatibility and descriptive purposes only.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction where the Service is operated, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
